Terms and Conditions:
All stories must be between 100 and 500 words and have a beginning, middle and end. Please don’t send us short random thoughts or dashed off sentences. All stories must be approved before posting. We will not post stories that are unrelated to the topics of brides, weddings, courtship or marriage. If your story does not fit these requirements then save it for another contest.
Remember, unless you want everyone to know who you're writing about, please don't identify the people in the story, either by name or by obvious characteristic.
All comments are also moderated. We ask that you make them constructive and relevant to the story you are comments about. We will not post comments that contain vulgar or abusive language; personal attacks of any kind; or offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups. We will not post comments that are spam, clearly unrelated to the story or that promote services or products.
Our editors will select and rank the top four stories from all qualifying submissions. Readers will select the Reader’s Favorite with their votes. Readers can vote for as many different stories as they like. However, they can only vote once a day for the same story.
The contest and voting begins April 1, 2010 and ends August 31, 2010. Winners will be announced on September 14, 2010.

Submissions accepted until August 31, 2010 at 11:59 pm EST. Winners will be notified via email and/or telephone by September 14, 2010. MyRomanceStory.com staff reserve the right to refuse publication of any story for any reason, and all stories will be screened prior to publication. Once submitted, all stories become the property of Arrow Publications, LLC/MyRomanceStory.com. All entries must be in English. Entrant is liable for any taxes incurred from winning contest and will be asked to submit a Form W-9 prior to the shipment of their prize package. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older by the end of the day on August 31, 2010. If you win, your entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use your name, city, state, likeness and/or voice for the purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity without additional compensation. Employees of Arrow Publications and their relatives are not permitted to enter the contest.
Arrow Publications, LLC/MyRomanceStory.com will not be held liable for any damage resulting from these stories, or due to data error.
Arrow Publications, LLC/MyRomanceStory.com reserves the right to replace any prize with another of equal value due to the unavailability of an item.
MyRomanceStory.com and Arrow Publications, LLC are not affiliated with any of the companies providing prizes for this contest and are not responsible for any defects or other problems arising from their products and services.
Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty United States, including the District of Columbia only.
