Terms and Conditions:

All prize selections will be made solely on the basis of which submissions best meet the criteria as determined by MyRomanceStory.com's editors. Specifically, submissions will be judged on their creativity, faithfulness to the original story and characters, strength and appeal of romantic elements, and overall writing. Winners are chosen at the sole discretion of the editors with no right of appeal.

All winners will be announced no later than September 30, 2008. The Readers’ Pick will be awarded to the submission that receives the highest percentage of votes. Current standings can be reviewed on the Voting Results page. In the case of a tie, selections will be made by MyRomanceStory.com's editors. Note that the Voting Results page will indicate those entries with fewer than 1% of the votes as 0%.

Submissions accepted until August 31, 2008 at 11:59 pm EDT. Winners will be notified via email and/or telephone by September 21, 2008. Arrow Publications, LLC reserve the right to refuse publication of any submission for any reason, and all submissions will be screened prior to posting on MyRomanceStory.com. Once submitted, all stories become the property of Arrow Publications, LLC. All entries must be in English. Entrant is liable for any taxes incurred from winning contest. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older by the end of the day on August 30, 2008. If you win, your entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use your full name, city, state, likeness and/or voice for the purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity without additional compensation. Employees of Arrow Publications and their relatives are not permitted to enter the contest. Writers whose novellas have been published by MyRomanceStory.com are not permitted to submit follow-ups to their own novellas.

Arrow Publications, LLC will not be held liable for any damage resulting from these stories, or due to data error. Arrow Publications may choose not to pick a 1st place winner should there be no qualifying submissions in the estimation of the editors.

The entrant warrants that their submission is original, that it has not previously been published in any form, that it has not been licensed to any other party, and contains no matter which, if published, will be libelous or infringe on the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others. Complete responsibility for any infringement (by plagiarism, libel, slander, or other means) of the rights of others by materials included in the submission, shall be borne by the entrant. Entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless (including payment of reasonable attorney's fees) Arrow Publications, LLC, its corporate affiliates, and any employee or agent thereof against all liability to third parties arising from, or in connection with, their submission.

While submissions are the based on MyRomanceStory.com romance graphic novellas this in no way constitutes permission by Arrow Publications to anyone to use characters or any elements from these novellas in any format for any other use. All rights, title, and interest to these novellas remain the property of Arrow Publications, LLC.

Participants must be residents of the United States.
